What is Geotab?
Geotab is a global fleet telematics company built around the Geotab GO tracking device and MyGeotab fleet management software. Geotab says its fleet tracking system provides real-time data on vehicle location, vehicle health, speed, driver behaviour, fuel usage and electric vehicle state of charge. It also retrieves EV-specific information such as real-time charge levels, charging locations, charging duration and battery state of health.
Geotab is one of the largest commercial telematics providers globally. In September 2025, it announced that it had surpassed 5 million connected vehicle subscriptions worldwide, with more than 100 billion data points generated daily and more than 700 partners in its ecosystem.
